Housings for slide bearings series E from specialist for drive technology RENK
The housings for RENK slide bearings of the E series are made of high-quality gray cast iron (EN-GJL-300) as standard and are equipped with connection holes for thermometers, oil outlets and inlets, oil sight glasses as well as oil sump thermometers and connections for suction lines of oil circulation pumps.p>
The shaft height of ER and EG series housings is selected so that they can be mounted on brackets for use on end shields. The ER series has ribs for cooling, while the EG series housings are smooth.
The EF and EM series housings are mounted directly on the machine shield using a flange and have ribs to dissipate frictional heat; there is no smooth design here.
To avoid shaft currents, all enclosures are also available in an insulated version as an option. In this case, the spherical seat of the shell in the housing is electrically insulated by applying a plastic layer.
