Gear-couplings from the drive specialist RENK.

The large number of variants and series gives you a wide range of options when designing the shaft connection.

The SB, SBk and LBk gear-coupling series stand out due to their long service life combined with high power density. The lubrication can be effected either by means of oil or grease lubrication, depending on the series. The shaft connection is torsionally rigid and transmits the torque as a positive connection with simultaneous compensation of axial, radial and angular shaft misalignments.

Basic series SB

The SB series has a split housing with screwed-on covers and a complex cover design which allows a high misalignment capability of ±1.5° per coupling half. Due to the optimal arrangement of the sealing rings in the housing cover, they are subjected to low loads and are particularly easy to replace. The series has a large lubricant compartment, with secured contents, which ensures lubrication even if the seal is damaged. The coupling can be filled with either grease or oil and is characterised by a large tooth centre distance.

Basic series SBk

The basic series SBk has a split housing with screwed-on covers and allows a misalignment of ± 0.75° per coupling half. The sealing rings are particularly easy to replace. Different shaft distances can be bridged by means of reversible hubs. The series also has a large centre-tooth distance. The lubrication is provided by grease.

Basic series LBk

The basic LBk series has a split housing with integrated covers and is therefore particularly compact. A maximum misalignment of ± 0.75° per coupling half is possible. The coupling is lubricated with grease.
